Why Can't Every Day Be Like Christmas

Miracles do happen, as evidenced by the green numbers you see - woohoo! After 7am is unheard of these days, especially when they are so excited, but rest was needed....4 hours is plenty, right??

One of the two things Jack asked Santa to bring was this Lightning computer

They got a lot of retro toys this year, and stockings full of all sorts of treasures

....including their version of Sid's microphone

with which Harry interviewed Daddy

and answered questions and sang songs

There were a few boxing matches

One of the two things Harry asked Santa for was an astonaut with a helmet

(the flag was a bonus!)

They are investigating the evidence of the reindeer enjoying the snacks they left

Opening some of their gifts to each other

One of the best things about the day for me was the joy they took in giving gifts - Jack was thrilled to give us our gifts (including self-written labels)

and he got a few hugs in return

I loved this picture of Harry opening his Lincoln Logs (thanx cousin Emily!)

And this one seemed fairly magical to me

Dean's brother Les joined us for the day, and it was really wonderful to relax, cook a nice meal and enjoy it with all the boys!

Thanx to everyone who helped make this 'the best Christmas EVER!' We enjoyed all the gifts and all the phone calls.
