I Wanna Jump, Jump, Jump and Fly!
My Sweet Italian Man
Mommy-a, I had-a bad-a dream!
So, that's-a why! (This is a favorite thing lately, giving all sorts of round-about details and ending with "that's why" and a funny little face)
Other things I want to get on tape at some point because they crack me
It'll CUT you! (Don't ever make the mistake of telling your son who loves all things aviar that a tall tower could cut you if you fly by it fast....who knows why I said it that way, or why it stuck, but "It'll CUT you!" is a favorite caution of his)
...and to think we used to wonder when he'd ever START talking....apologies to anyone who he's accosted lately with his stories, and thanx for being so patient and kind :-)
AOL has a story about finding the oldest human footprint - I wonder if this is the oldest reference to spooning (circa 1912):
Tony, he make-a da spoon wid Annette
It make her feel-a much better, you bet
And this may be the most accurate motto I've found for him yet:
He got no time to work, he's gotta love
Irving Berlin
2/26/09 Harry: So, that's why! Jack: I love Turbo Typing, and I love Mixed-Up Letters even more, and I love you most of all, Mommy!

I'm as daffy as a daffodil
And I walked right in to a donut shop
The nice lady taught them all about how the different ingedients are mixed, let them feel the dough at different points in the process and then gave us amazing warm donuts -

Asher passing the dough along to Jack
Grayson and the boys check out the final dough
Sam and Jack yukking it up (and I got several partial shots of Harry)The friends we met at the gym said they could smell the sugar on us - yikes!
The Donut Song - silly kids songs
Change Is Good - Spin Cycle
Jen's Spin Cycle for the week is about Change, and I am feeling a bit Band-ish rather than political or philosophical, so here are their words and a glimpse at the state of change at our house
Change is then, change is now, Change is what, change is how
Change is this and change is that, Change is where change is atChange is good
Change is yes, change is no, Change is everywhere you go
Change is right, change is wrong, Change is here, change is gone
Change is good
You can change your life, Find a new way to go
You can change your world, You don't even know
Life's a long road, Lighten up your load
Change is good
You can run but you can't hide, From the things you feel inside
You can laugh or you can cry, Kiss all your tears goodbye
All you got to do, Is try and try you should
Change is good
Change is high, change is low, Changes come and changes go
Change is this and change is that, Change is where change is at
Change is good
You can pine your life away, Let others pass you by
You can climb a mountain high, Like an eagle in the sky
All you got to do, Is try and try you should
Change is good
Change is never done, Something better has begun
A change is gonna come
Change is good
They have just begun to call coins 'change' -
they used to be 'wishes' since we tossed them in the fountain
and dreamed all sorts of dreams :sniff:
At least now it's a fun thing they share with Dean - dividing his spare change every day and putting it into their banks.

Blinded By The Light - Random Tuesday Thoughts
radio, as we're getting into the van: wrapped up like a duce another runner in the night.
Jack: Mommy, he said 'drop a deuce!' :gigglesnickergiggle:
Me, thinking: thanx, honey!
I wonder how often other people apologize in a day?
Sesame Street's Count said dos for 2, so Harry started counting and stopped after quatro,
Me: what comes after quatro? Harry: por favor! I wonder if that's a sign that we eat at the mexican restaurant too often?!?
We had a fun time running errands, touring Krispy Kreme, eating donuts, doing crafts, running around the gym, and having a friend over for a lunch playdate which was a real treat for me.... I'm herding them into the bath and an early dinner and bed so I can rest....whew!
If you want to participate in RTT, or just want to read some other randomness, head on over to Keely's

That'll be my name spelt right

The Ketchup Song
Jack put this chair in time out - it doesn't seem as funny as I type, but it was a hilarious story he told in a funny voice.

A local restaurant has Kids' Nites weekly, and we ended up booted from the house for a showing, so they got to meet Sponge Bob. Since Jack reminded me that 'it's just a person dressed up in a costume,' I hope we're not getting past the magic this soon...
And remember that post about how proud he was to tell someone I was his mom?? Well, the lovin' doesn't stop here....he was telling me "that's MY dad!"
Oh, girls, beware - Harry knows how to use those eyes!
